The treatment of CKD stage 1-2 In stage 1, patients need to improve the life style and do a compressive examination as soon as possible. GFR (Glomerular Filtration Rate) for stage 1 is 90 or above and GFR (Glomerular Filtration Rate) for stage 2 is between 60 and 89

Stage 3 Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD)

Chronic Kidney Disease Stage 3 is the intermediate stage of kidney disease were kidneys functions  between 30% and 59%. With reduced kidney function, extra fluid and toxins build up in the blood gradually and it  results in various symptoms like High blood pressure, anemia, Fatigue, Swelling or fluid retention, Blood urine. Low protein, low-sodium diet and healthy lifestyles are needed to reduce the progression of kidney disease. GFR (Glomerular Filtration Rate) for stage 3 is between 30 and 59

Stage 4 Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD)

Chronic Kidney Disease Stage 4 occurs when kidney function reduces from 15% to 29%. If the disease progression increases, it will lead to kidney failure. These patients may require dialysis or kidney transplant in the near future. Stage 5 Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD)

The final stage of Chronic Kidney Disease is ESRD. ESRD is the short form of End Stage Renal Disease. Patients with ESRD, their GFR is below 15. ESRD is not a single disease, but it is a clinical syndrome which can be caused by various kidney diseases, like lupus nephritis, hypertensive nephropathy, polycystic kidney disease, etc.  Patients with ESRD, their kidney function is too low, and the metabolic disorders in their body can cause many health problems in their body, which can lead  many symptoms like breathing difficulty, tiredness, anemia , toxins in the blood, bubbly urine, blood urine high blood pressure, poor appetite, nausea and vomiting, sleep problems, Skin itching, restless legs and muscle cramps, headache, memory loss etc.  The treatment for ESRD is dialysis and kidney transplant.
